Leigh and Brandon’s wedding at Pepper Plantation began with the typical Charleston afternoon showers. Leigh and Brandon, as well as most of their guests, were from out of town and they were not familiar with the idiosyncrasies of LowCountry weather. However, I knew that it would shortly turn into beautiful sunny day (with a little help from dopplar radar on the phone), and I reassured the bride that I had left a message with the man upstairs and he promised to clear the skies for her wedding. After a nice laugh and a few glasses of champagne the sun began to peak through the clouds and before we knew it the rain and clouds were gone and the sun was out.

After the reception Leigh and Brandon invited us to join the wedding party at the WindJammer on the Isle of Palms where we convinced the band to allow them on stage for a warm Charleston welcome. What a way to end your wedding day.
